What did you do to your deuce this week?

I put 1/2 tank of filtered WMO, then drove it to town for parts, want to work on it this weekend but hard to say with the weather

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I thought it was a acid but didn't want to state something I wasn't 100% sure of

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Gotcha, that's what I was guessing but wasn't sure, so if it were to degrade the core it wouldn't really matter

What is the purpose for the fiber core?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Doesn't ospho contain a type of acid? How will it affect the fiber core that I've heard of inside these cables?

    Winch shear pin connnction stuck

Yep, the PO gave me seals, boots (not zippered) and clamps with the trucks. He picked this one up from GL at San Antonio and it's got zippered boots on it now.

    Winch shear pin connnction stuck

Ugh, that's why I've been avoiding it:(, just noticed a bad front axle boot it sounds like more fun than the pto shaft

    Winch shear pin connnction stuck

It appears to just be a splined yoke and shaft at the pto, has a grease fitting for splines but I see no means of it locking

    Remote Brake Fluid Reservoir

Mine had dot 5 , but it was yellow instead of blue like the stuff I have. Could easily be mistaken for aged dot3. Not sure how to tell the difference other than viscosity.

    Winch shear pin connnction stuck

That's what I want to do but don't want to burn the seal out of the winch, are winch seals readily available?

    Winch shear pin connnction stuck

I have one that is frozen too, beat on it and soaked it many times, it's so stuck it even winched another deuce onto a gooseneck float without slipping!!! One of these days I'll try to pull the shaft and or winch.

    Uses for Deuces

I'm almost certain it was a gasser, low headlights, slots cut above passenger headlight for horn, inner fenders are square vs. slanted, r/h inner fender has been sawzalled to clear the j pipe. Doesn't have a vin on the data plate, instead it has a shorter 6 or 8 digit number? It also has what...

    Leaking Fuel Return Hose

I think in the previous posts they are suggesting Parker push lock hose, we used to use it for lots of things in a plant where I worked, great stuff. As long as you use their hose and fittings it just pushes, although not real easily onto barbed fittings, IIRC it holds 250 psi . I have lots of...

    M35A2 Parking Brake

I re-lined mine a few weeks back, I got my parts from Eriks. If you do re-line them you will have to find or make some tools to set the rivets (order a few extra rivets), also be very careful the linings are quite brittle. Try to insert all the rivets to make sure the holes line up , mine were...
