DEUCE BRAKE LINE REFERENCE GUIDE (Sizes, lengths, fittings)

I just threw out my set of donor lines so I don't have any pics I can share. From your picture it look like you used a longer line there, it should be a 12" line. There is a 27" line that goes from the air pack to the tee fitting on the frame, maybe you used that line instead? Ke5eua- I only...

Michelin 365 XZL Very Bad Tire Shake

they weren't touching, but really close so it was for peace of mind. I just put some spacers between the mudflap supports and the box floor's crossmembers where they attached. The mudflaps are angled back now.

    Spin-on Fuel Filters

Not sure if lots of trucks are like mine but... I put a fuel pressure gauge right on the tank where Rustystud did also. I couldnt get that 1/8npt plug out for the life of me. I had the pump out to replace the gasket which was leaking and ended up drilling & re-tapping the hole (not something I...

    fuel filter conversion unit

So you guys have me curious now. I had changed my secondary fuel filters over to a single unit like shown below using a Wix 33352 rated at 6 micron nominal. I had thought about switching over to the same large sized Baldwin BF7587 filter that I put onto the end of my WMO filter setup (the big...

    PEASHOOTER's M109A3 CAMPER Build Thread

yes the slotted stuff is the extruded aluminum framing that I got second hand. There are lots of brands of it 80/20 is a common one, ITEM, BOSCH, TSLOTS, PARKER, and Maytec are some other brands. The decking I got from a local extrusion company I found. There are some regular angle pieces also...

cant fit in m35a3, too tall, feel cramped.

Yeah, my 1988 M109 has a few adjustment notches on the clutch pedal (I just lowered it a week or 2 ago), I haven't looked at the brake pedal yet. That one I would be more concerned about lowering though since it might need the full travel if you loose one brake circuit

cant fit in m35a3, too tall, feel cramped.

I'm 6'3" and it is a tighter fit for my legs. I put an air ride bag in my springer seat in place of the spring so I can control the height a bit with air pressure. That helped a fair amount. I also got a smaller 18" steering wheel for it but the A3 trucks should already have the smaller steering...

    PEASHOOTER's M109A3 CAMPER Build Thread

Here are some more pictures to show the way it stays up. The last photo from post 159 is just showing the pivot hinge, I showed that because with the pivot I used there would have been a big gap between the deck and trailer so there is a 6" deck area behind the hinge point to fill that space...

    PEASHOOTER's M109A3 CAMPER Build Thread

After the brake job getting out of control, I didnt plan on getting the "Deck" done before memorial day but my family was out of town for 2 days and the weather was nice so I decided to knock out as much as I could. Here is the fold up/down deck. We really wanted to make the deck after...

    Stupid me

just so I understand correctly, you have removed the Y splitter you installed on the rear composite lights for your extra lights correct? To help troubleshoot, I'd make sure you unhook that splitter. Take a multi meter on the continuity setting and ground the black lead to a solid ground on...

    Stupid me

The headlights wont work because the circuit breaker is tripped (it will auto reset once the short is fixed). Just find the short downstream of the switch. If you have a multi-meter you can set the meter to "continuity", clamp one lead onto a good ground, and then take the other probe and...
