Couple of Russian trucks earning their keep. (Nail Biter!)

That speaks volumes about the qualities of Stolichnaya Vodka. My God! Trucks that are both Soldier AND Sailor proof! How do I import one? And who can translate the manuals? !!!!

I didnt know where else to put this, military pickup question

If myself and my soldiers can't kill it, it has got to be tough. Check it out carefully. Frame, skid plates (yes we removed many of those the hard way), motor..... If you get one that my kids didn't have, you may have a truck for years! Good luck!

    Newb from Texas

Welcome in. You'll find a ton of really nice people here. Some smart ones too, but I don't profess to be one of the latter! I'm still learnig the hard way. Green Trucks are not a hobby, but more of an addiction! Wonder if my health plan will cover that one!

    Split Brakes

I think that this is an idea worth looking into. This very problem, may keep the current fleet of Canadian MLVWs (deuce) from being released for sale except as salvage parts. If it can happen up here, it WILL hapen in the USA....You have way more lawyers than we do! It seems to be up to us to...

Winter storage ,keep the critters out of the cab.

The mouse problem can be solved by another 4 legged problem. It's called CAT. They can be highly effective, and are guaranteed to ignore you until they get hungry, cold or bored!

Legal issues with transporting "troops" in a Deuce

Don't want to be a wet blanket, but up here DND has a very simple policy. Troops will not be transported on public roads for more than 10 Klicks (less than 4 miles) unless they are in a commercial transport vehicle (IE: BUS). On DND property or leased training areas, there are no such...

    Accessory Questions

I've never seen an NSN snow plow for a deuce. The few that were around were cobbled together by the frustrated guys at Base Maint section. Nothing was authorized from above, but if it works, don't mess with it. You may be able to get a plow from the Air Force, but they usually sell these as a...

    Political Messages on your MV

Your truck, your choice. Personally I only do things that support our troops. I do not advertise for parties or candidates. To do that just smells like a cooked clutch! Not for me!

Why did you buy your deuce

I used to have to occasionally drive a Canadian MLVW which is a cheap and dumbed down M-35. I got hooked. Why a Deuce? ... Why not. Tanks are only viable if you have an unlimited budget. (I still want one any ways) Good luck!
