Remove all the injector lines from the hydraulic head and crank the engine over. The fuel should be shooting up about 12" from each port. If the port for injector #4 is shorter than the others the problem is in the hydraulic head.
If that is good then your issue is in that cylinder or the...
Write out your wants and goals for the truck and see which one fits the list closest. Did that over the weekend and its actually cheaper for me to sell my deuce and go with a m934
Another thing we found on his deuce with the air compressor. With the engine off Valence turned his air compressor pulley by hand while I had my hand sealing the slobber tube from the engine. As he cycled the compressor it was pressurizing the engine.
It was a used shaft that I bought from Oshkosh, so the stock CV joints. The lower boot tore open when we engaged the clutch again after lunch, Valence caught it before the joint was damaged.
On edit: Forgot to add, the front PTO is spinning. Looks like the sear pin that connects the shaft to...
 Never seen one that bad before either haha.
The input shaft is what surprised me. Must have shattered the bearing on it because it moves side to side and up/down about 2 inches. The gears in the trans appear fine and move like they should, but the input is broken. So I'm on the hunt...
Haha yes I agree on that shaft, oddball CV joints and oil bath instead of grease is not the best idea when relying on boots to keep the oil in.
Will be upgrading to a better design later but for now just need it to work. Money is focused on the deuce engine/transmission swap.
Did I say destroyed?
However the transmission is rebuildable.
On a side note the stock exhaust manifold is a T6 flange, verified that today. So if you want to run a different turbo there are adapters cheaply available.
Separated the engine and transmission, clutch was EVERYWHERE!!! Clutch, throwout bearing, trans input bearing, input shaft, flex plate, and flywheel are done.
