"you can remove the useless transducer on top of the fuel filter and add a pressure gauge."

RWH.... I'll drink to that, CAMO
IMO... With AMG or NOS or nice pull off anything springs and shocks military, it's going to ride like a military truck. If going for a sweet ride, money and after market kits to build it for the engineered ride your looking for.
HumV..... rock, roll, bumpy and loud, CAMO
Just saw the model number number of your head sets. Common and cheap connectors "TRS" type adds a few bucks to the build. Papakb and others with off the shelf, plug and play might be the easiest at a few $$$$.
Money here is tight and Bob the builder is my hero, CAMO
Not sure what your trying to do here??? Are you and son in the same vehicle or separate rigs? If in the same rig this can be easy. The radio thing is throwing me off.
Guessing here as no 4 year old is driving another car and would not sit still for not being in the HumV LOL...
Soo the...
Its a custom seal with right angles for the corners. Would seem simple enough, but it's the government / hmmwv thing we should be familiar with by now. A bit pricey but worth it in the long run for another thirty years. I looked high and low at many custom rubber manufacturer to source...
If there is fuel at vent port.. there's a good chance fuel is finding it way to the engine oil. That could be bad news.
Rig up a cheep o vacuum / pressure gauge and come up with a number (science) to be sure. Again... here's what I did.
No guessing on or off the trail, CAMO
Going to have to start somewhere. IMO, looks a little weak on the "dribble test" Another book (easy read) Chapter 3.

Not going to guess.... old rigs, old parts, NEW problem/s. Search SS site here too. 🔍...
Well after all this stopping and going... we're all tuned up on stopping and going.
If you spot me on the road, STAY BACK ! Needs room to maneuver, CAMO
Maybe ??... I believe it has more to do with the backlash (when brakes are locked at a stop) out thru the halfshafts and gear mesh in the hubs. You get use to it after a while. Not always noticeable, but feels like a cheap drunken high. Lock up your brakes and get the boys to give it...
So reading your description and seeing the Clark speedo those are good Ole USA. For the most part... if there is no name... it's a knock off. May not matter to some, but I have had REAL bad luck with these and other electrical products.
HmuV not happy with pretend parts. CAMO
If your new to the game... might want to check those gauges. Knock off (china) are all over the place.
Could be a good deal or IMO bad news. When it comes to parts QEM / USA is the way to go.
Late to the party... pooper, CAMO
There could be a screen clogged up valve in the end of the filter. It's a little flapper disks / spring loaded over the end. I know doesn't make sense if a clogged filter and if pump can draw fuel it opens. Something to do with gelled fuel to keep the rig running??? Looks like this black...
My two cents.... Cheaper than the TOBASH......💰
Might consider rotating or re-clock the box mounted "elbows" adapters to work. It's a Hmmwv and if the engine is mounted sideways it goes right along with this lash-up LOL. Then one could use the right connectors. Should be easy and cover the...
You just did the best thing to find by posting here.
That little right angle job might not handle much current ?? and wold have to rip into it to rework ??
You looking for the three pin male? Most have a long back shell. Might be able to cut in down?? or find some thing shorter. Mix and...
