had the deuce in the parade today.
weather was great and the deuce was a big hit. at the end of the parade, i was getting out to talk to the riders when my wedding ring hooked the troop seat. i was lucky it didn't tear my finger off. This gives me a good reason not to wear it. 10 stitches...
that sounds about right. In the 2 years I spent painting my truck and trailer, the price rose from $71 to $96 so I'm not surprised it's almost $100 a gallon.
update: No longer a three legged mule!!!
Got her all back together.
I installed the new housing and drop gear assembly. No issues there. I slid in the small body tube and gaskets. You may need to pry the two apart with a screw driver to walk the gasket in.
The long body tube was a...
I use a plastic bottle from those clean wipes. I cut a hole at the rim for one end of a bungie cord. The other end of the bungie catches the bolt/bracket at the heat shield. No water, no issues if left on, never blown off...yet.
Update
OK,

Be sure to bring the right tools etc for your trip. There are several great threads on what to bring with you for your recovery.
I got just what you listed. Looks way better than Saturn Surplus's crap...but it was way more $$$$.
the 41-01 was $33.00 each. I sent $70.00 for my wipers.

I found one of the...
I found mine was very close to the switch as well. Really, the plate that marks L and R is the only hickup. It's a tight fit but my springer seat and the fuel selector switch work together just fine.
do a search for "power bleeder". Several members built a power bleeder out of a garden sprayer. I copied it and it worked great. The reason I recommend this is because it took quite a bit of fluid to get the rest of the air out of my brake lines. I had the same problem and it was taking...
