What ever you did at your end cured a problem I had on SS. I had to hit back page 4-5 times to back page, I could not enlarge any photos or upload photos. All that is now gone and all appears to work fine. I haven't tried to load a pic yet. I'll try that tomorrow after I pick up my M1101.
I have registered an M923 and an M105a2 with no problem and also titled a few other trucks purchased from GL and have never had any hassles in the Utah DMV. My 923 is an AM General and I have titled a BMY also all with "0" problems.
Peach Days is Brigham Cities annual celebration. They have a very large car show (1200 entries last year) with it. It is Sept. 6 and you can find information by googling it. You can also find car show at Thanks2Frank.com they list a calendar as will as links for car shows all over N.Utah, Idaho...
I have an M923, M105A2 and a M1101. I'm in Roy by Hill AFB. I know 3 others in the Ogden area and one in NSL as well as Boyce Equip. and Plan B Surplus. I have taken my truck to some local car shows and it will be going to Peach Days in Brigham. Does that help any?
I had bought a '97 H1 that had burned(not uncommon evidently) for $1700. I stripped all the aluminum off, all the burnt wiring out and sold the rolling chassis for $2000. Then got the scrap out of the aluminum and copper. Keep your truck and offer him $2500 as is or walk away.
That tow bar WILL pull an FJ Criuser with ease. Earlier this year I got 2 F350 Crew cabs way cheap because they were listed as F250s. You got a good deal on that tow bar, go get it and sell it if you don't want to use it, or pay the fees inquired to walk away.
I have personally inspected the engine ID plates on the NHC250 and the 8.3 6CTA Cummins engines and both stated that these engine were compliant with EPA regulations for date of manufacture. Now I can't say about the Detroit diesels or the Cat engines. How about someone get eyes on those ID tags...
The M932 I was high bidder on has been removed and I have also received the email. I wonder how long before the "Big" trucks come back. This doesn't make a lot of sense as the equipment being auctioned is considered obsolete by DOD so I don't see them repairing a bunch of broken old trucks to go...
You need to check the brake light switch under the truck on the frame about half way back (check TM for location). I assume you have T/S working. Just unplug the two wires going to the switch and short them together, if the brake lights come on replace the switch. It is an air pressure switch...
All I had in the package was the buzzer/bulb, your business card and the receipt. I did drill several small(1/64) holes in the green lens that goes over the bulb.
