    Breton industries leaky top

It would seem you need the plywood fix mentioned by many posters here on SteelSoldiers. Look it up and I believe it will solve all your ills. Either plastic board or thin plywood that is rot resistant with a few holes drilled for drainage is placed b/t the ribs and the canvas to prevent the...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

But does it have a cop motor? Not sure it can be the new Blues Mobile... You need a new lighter.

    CV BOOT INSTALLATION

Read My Lips: Do you really know where the other axles are really made? Others have used these axles without issue. I hate the fact that we can no longer buy MADE IS USA items, and I hate the country that hid the Wuhan virus until it became a pandemic, but where do you think your boots were...

    CV BOOT INSTALLATION

By the time I purchase 4 spare axles from AutoZone with lifetime warranty, I have spent just a little bit more that a Doorman CV boot tool and grease and 2 boots. I love DIY fixes BUT at just over $110 per axle I just cannot justify this DIY unless I'm stuck on a trail. Even then I carry the...

    More PCB questions

You need to replace the glow plug temperature sensor, but not the glow plugs. What I mean is that all boxes except KDS Green use a sensor that must be matched to the PCB/EESS. You should buy them as a set to ensure proper match.

Experience with Hard Top Kit : Advanced Vehicles Assembly

That "roll cage" does not appear to tie into the frame, so just how good will it be in a rollover? Where exactly does it extend from and to? A pillar to C pillar? B pillar? I would ask questions before laying out that amount of coin. Quick inspection of the pics looks like it just attaches to...

Humvee shock absorber and spring options?

By the time you paid for custom brackets you would have spent the same amount for these lifetime shocks. IMHO

Headlight wires.. Which one does what.

Dude, easy answer. Get 2 wires and connect to your battery or a 24V source. Then connect to the leads you identified in the order you described to see if you're right. Then post the answer. Best, T

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Simple fix. Make sure you send your wife on errands every day so the rig does not sit. Keeping her busy will make your life easier and your rig will not need fixing. Surprised you didn't think of that. rofl

    Smart Start Box Ground Cable

From your description I don’t know what you disconnected. That means I cannot answer your question. In general always disconnect the batteries before all electrical work

Humvee shock absorber and spring options?

They have an excellent reputation with a lifetime warranty. Cepek has a presence on The Hummer Network, and you can PM him directly with questions.

Humvee shock absorber and spring options?

Why not just get civilian Hummer H1 CEPEK adjustable shocks? With all the custom brackets you want to make to cluge something else together that might not work, you might as well just get these time tested shocks and be done with it.

How to bypass PCB? I am aware some HMMWV owners have done it. TOBASH

Hey, I confirmed these diagrams with you months ago Cam, so I blame you! LOL [EDIT - And yes, you're correct.} My unit works so the diodes are in properly. I will correct later tonight, but I clearly wrote a disclaimer.

How to bypass PCB? I am aware some HMMWV owners have done it. TOBASH

Well. Here it is. I made one and it works... BUT: This is a potentially dangerous high-voltage high amperage item and let me start by saying that I made this as an educational learning exercise and none of you should do it. I am not an electrical engineer nor am I affiliated with any...

How to bypass PCB? I am aware some HMMWV owners have done it. TOBASH

I will post my diagrams later. I have a video to post BUT it is not edited. Your diagrams Sellers are rudimentary. Not a bad start though. I have the circuits totally mapped out BUT I have been busy managing patients and my practice to post or post the video. The Chinese Virus caused me to...

M998 Grill guard 50” light bar modification

Cam, I happen to like it, a lot! Great Idea and seems relatively cheap and easy. I will go for a mount that is forward on the brush guard to lessen the amount of cutting. Just a few drill holes. In NYC, lots of people think it is cool to drive with their brights on. My old Durango had...
