There is a thread at the top of the deuce page entitled "How to turn up fuel in pictures". It is a sticky, you will learn a few things about the injector pump that may help you if you read through it. You need to know about the injector pumps on these if you are going to own one.
And how would you put it on a rear axle? You would have to cut the axle shaft off of the flange and have it resplined and then hope it is long enough. Just sayin... I've thought about it too.
I agree. It will almost always be the injectors or the lift pump if you have already changed the filters. You could pull the pump assembly and check the pickup screen for clogging by large particles. That won't cost you anything and is a good maintenance check.

Yes I went through that on the last one I had to do. Made a couple of small reference stamps before I took the nut off the shaft. Thanks for the tip though.
