    multi fuel engine in m1008

That is probably the easiest way to go about it, but I'm sure it isn't what the op meant. Im sure it can be done. Someone on YouTube put an 8v92 Detroit diesel in an old K30.

    fuel in the oil

Pull the shutoff cover and turn on the master power switch and watch for fuel dripping out where you pulled the cover off.

    fuel in the oil

There is a thread at the top of the deuce page entitled "How to turn up fuel in pictures". It is a sticky, you will learn a few things about the injector pump that may help you if you read through it. You need to know about the injector pumps on these if you are going to own one.

    Deuce Lock out Hubs WIW

    Aha! Noted. Thank you.

    M1008 Ignition switch

Yeah, you would end up with Chinese crap. Just change the lock cylinder if the assembly has slop in it. That should solve the issue.

    Deuce Lock out Hubs WIW

And how would you put it on a rear axle? You would have to cut the axle shaft off of the flange and have it resplined and then hope it is long enough. Just sayin... I've thought about it too.

    fuel in the oil

It is usually caused by bad hydraulic head o-rings. Search "deuce HH orings" and it should pull up a bunch of threads on the subject.

    Fuel Issues - No Start

The cover should mount with two slotted screws. Don't remove the wrong cover, it'll get you nowhere.

    Fuel Issues - No Start

Fuel shutoff lever is stuck or the retaining button has fallen off the bottom of the hydraulic head.

You may actually be right all joking aside!

    Sticky shutoff, really frustrating

No it wasn't that much, just some good well placed spritzes. The oil will get changed before it ever goes in the truck anyway.

My mighty mite has a manual starter but I don't think it's the same starter.

    Deuce low power.

And take a look at the fuel line crossover bolted to the bottom of the front crossmember under the radiator. They get crushed or kinked sometimes.

    Deuce low power.

I agree. It will almost always be the injectors or the lift pump if you have already changed the filters. You could pull the pump assembly and check the pickup screen for clogging by large particles. That won't cost you anything and is a good maintenance check.

    I like the starter.

    Sticky shutoff, really frustrating

Oh that's alright, we've all been here before, or will be eventually.

    Sticky shutoff, really frustrating

Ha! It isn't even in the truck yet! Anyway, I went back out and fiddled around with it some more and found the shutoff plate stuck in the up position. Bear in mind that I soaked everything in there with aerokroil before I came inside and posted about this. After working it up and down with a...

    Sticky shutoff, really frustrating

The last one I took apart was splined and could have gone many different ways.

    Sticky shutoff, really frustrating

Yes I went through that on the last one I had to do. Made a couple of small reference stamps before I took the nut off the shaft. Thanks for the tip though.
