I understand, but somewhere there I keep thinking that there has to be a frame to body bonding strap. Maybe not. I searched the TM's and I guess I am just not looking for it correctly. I will scratch around a little more tonight. Definitely has to be something that ties the battery ground...

Yes Sir... I have shopped several times on GP hoping to find a crash truck. I found several USMC versions but they seem just a little out of my price range. Especially the one I found up in Mooresville and I thought maybe a preview of it might be possible. Kinda got told no, so I just...

Thinking out loud...
What about the battery grounds? Unless something has changed, the battery grounds go to the frame. Then the magic is to get that ground from the battery and frame to the aluminum body of the truck. That is part of why there are as many "grounding issues" as there are...

You mean that your truck doesn't have a bunch of elves that repair it over night? I guess the part that is finally starting to happen for me now is that at least I am fixing what needs to be fixed - rather than finding two more things that are seemingly more important than what I...

Welcome to the Outfit!
Definitely a good bunch of folks here...
Don't hesitate to ask questions - and post a few pictures.
That way the rest of us can oogle your new-to you trailer.

Crack open the cover for the PCB. If it looks white and powdery inside, you found the problem. Rather than buying one, you might use the search function here and rebuild what you have. Another possibility is to search on YouTube for instructions on rebuilding it yourself.
It might be that...

On a phone, TM's are pretty miserable. I went to the local Goodwill Technology Center and bought the oldest computer I could find. Maybe $30. I think it was running Windows 95 at the time. Dumped all my TM's onto it, and that machine does nothing but open PDFs. Don't have it connected to...

Well, until tomorrow: Congratulations on your win as the People's Choice winner!
Kind of a bummer that you had to work as hard as you did - but everything considered - you did good!
Glad that @fuzzytoaster was ready, willing and able to lend a hand and brainpower to boot!
He is a heck of a...

I was expecting maybe a 55 gallon drum to fill that tank. When you mentioned 100 gallons - I was a little shocked. That was when I started hunting and found the number. Still, they didn't do a very good job of documenting the oil in my opinion. The heat / petroleum smell I guess could be...

CONGRATULATIONS! Happy to hear that you entered and placed in the points
Both are definitely nice looking trucks!
Even better that they help support Military associated charities!!
Now you have a reason to attend that event regularly too.

According to the Lubrication Order, LO9-2320-272-12
Weekly, with boom in horizontal position, remove oil filler cap and gage from top of reservoir. If level is below full mark on gage, replenish to full mark. Every 12,000 miles (19,000 kilometers) or 12 months, whichever occurs first, remove...

Because they don't teach themselves... That you are looking through the books is a GOOD thing. I have grumbled and said bad words and been generally grumpy trying to find the information you (me, I) are looking for in these TM's.
The more you use them, the better you get at using them...

Absolutely and For Sure!
Something (M1088 Wrecker, M936 Wrecker, KR555 Backhoe, Anything with outriggers or a bucket will lift your vehicle to change a tire. I am always a little chicken though... Why not throw a block or two or three under the axle - so if a hydraulic hose breaks - you...

Yes Sir @Ferretboy !
I am moving around and stirring up trouble
I had hoped to have accomplished more on my little Ferret children, but it was hot and miserable. Then is was hot and REALLY miserable, then I had my trip to the hospital . All that got better and about the most I have...
