    Jasper 6.2 diesel ?

Maybe your right. I never noticed an economy line, but who knows. If it is a more expensive engine we are using, its still less than dealer prices. Back the original post, I'm thinking he can find a pull out, out of something. They were pretty tough motors. We don't have any left in the fleet...

    Jasper 6.2 diesel ?

If you have ever been to the Jasper plant, its top notch and definitely not unskilled workers. Super clean and very well organized. My shop [ I work for an electric utility] have installed probably a 30-40 Jasper engines over the years and probably that many transmissions. Especially the old...

Hurry up and buy it before he sells it. There are others out there in worse shape going for more money. My neighbor just paid $6000 for one and yours looks better. Just my 2 cents worth.

    M931A2 compressor does not pump?

Just bought a M931 and it has the same leak at the air dryer as well. The truck is in great shape, almost looks like its been in storage. Think I'll just try some air tool oil in the inlet and see if it will unstick. If that doesn't work will take apart and clean. Let us know how you make out...

    Maryland tags,title,registration

That's right, just tagged a M931 yesterday and it also says under gvw N/A. Historic vehicles are tagged with no weight as they are not supposed to be used for commercial purposes. Parades, car shows, special events, etc is what the tag is meant for.

M925 A2 very disappointed in ability

I spent a couple years in 29 palms cruising the desert . M35s we ran with 20lbs in the rear [not much load, just marines] and 30 in front. Never got stuck with one nor saw one stuck that had air let out. I'd let air down till tire bulges nice. We got brand new M923's near the end of my time and...

Georgia Title Law Changes: Need assistance from GA and other States Members

Is it a question about the age of the vehicle [historic] or MV's in general in Georgia? Maryland just changed the laws on all our historic tags and made trucks have to be 25 years old. This is mostly due to the abuse of passenger cars and junk trucks being driven everyday and tagged historic. I...

    The Beast

Good deal on the insurance and good luck on the state inspection. You may have to add a tag light if the inspector is picky and of course make a rear tag bracket. Other than that, I cant think of anything that wouldn't pass. Likely as not, they will never have inspected one of these before. I...

I want to get a Deuce.

Everything everyone said is very accurate, all sound advice and great encouragement. I drove them at 18. Thanks to Good old USMC, but they were holding the liablity, not my parents and they trained us. Any rate, good luck. No kidding listen to these guys on here, the really do care about you and...
