    m211 stuck in low range

I think NDT and a few others gave me the same advice about 5 years ago. I'm driving in in high or low whenever I want now. I feel like we all have more problems when we let these trucks sit.

    New Member with M211

I purchased everything to do what you are discussing Hambone. Except I went with a muffler to fit a Chevy car. I believe it was from a 80-something impala. Muffler was $70 and a friend bent up some pipes. Purchased some real 12" flex that had exhaust pipe ends and stainless braided center. Good...

    Axles and Transfercases...New guy here!

Now that I think about it with your application, it would be easier to take the whole axle and flip it.

    Axles and Transfercases...New guy here!

On front axles you can flip the center section and reverse the rotation of the pinion. You gave to grind a little on the housing and trim an inch off the long axle. I would assume the rear axle would be very close to the same. There are mud bogger, monster truck and truck puller websites with...

    XM 211 Master Cylinder

I got two from Oshkosh. I believe I paid $77 and purchased two in 2014. They work perfectly with my stock airpacks. Here is the link: http://www.oshkoshequipment.com/products/detail/72/3754/Master-Cylinder

My xm211 got put to work

It is an interesting combination. Do I understand you have a Vacuum Booster for the brakes? On your shift knob is it L-1-2-3 or 1-2-3-4? My pack up plan for transmission failure is Chevy/AT. I will never haul a load. Maybe climb a logging road though.

Yes, Watch for rust in the last little bit of the bore. It may not allow the piston to return all the way either.

    Finally restoring the M37

Nice! Very Nice. You are going to need to get a glass trailer to haul it in.

    M211 crew cab crusade

When you put that in the GMC6x6 watch the top dog bone from frame to top of the axle. You may have the urge to cut it out for clearance. Notice the shackles on the front and rear of the leaf springs and you will know why it is there. Can't wait to see more...

G749 Trucks hard to come by

I see the bumper is cut. Did it have a snow plow or a fire pump on it at one time? Is there a hole in the radiator? The winch was driven from the PTO on the side of the driver's side of the transfer case. A 2 piece shaft powered the winch. You should see a hole in the cross member on the driver...
