I believe a 4l60E can be turned into a 4L60 or 700R4. You will need to adjust where things sit. You may need an adaptor to got the the transfercase as I believe the 4L60 has a different spline count than the Th400 has so that will need to be adapted. You will need to get a TV cable to hook up...
Not trying to be rude but did you RTFM? (Read The Field Manual) The -20 for this truck will give you lots of information on how to troubleshoot your system. I have to agree with 197th did you bench bleed the MC and then bleed the whole system?
Combst32 stated it best for me. The Army may have said the M416 was the trailer to use, but they didn't follow it. I've been in the guard since 1990 and there wasn't a M416 trailer to be had in any of the motorpools I hung around. On many occations we would hook a M101 (a1 and a2 type)...
Ok now your just getting greedy.... You have the red M211, the M220 camper and now this.... Gees save some for the rest of us will ya! Take the parts and put them on your other trucks and then part that one out to the replacement axle and be done with it.
1/4 ton trailer's are nice and pull just fine behind a M1009 but you can't back them worth a hoot. The problem is you can't see it behind you. So by the time you see it in your mirrors you're at the point of jack knife. Do yourself a favor and look for a M101 trailer. It is what is meant to...
Snake River 4X4 Try here this will give you parts and information to do a power steering rebuild.
Yes it's been done and is not too hard to do. But it is not a simple bolt in job some fabrication is needed.
I would have to think that it's a bad box. It's not like the truck didn't run before and your replaced the box only to find that wasn't the problem. I would say contact them and either send it back for a new one or just send it back and keep the old one.
I wish there was some compition to New wire harness provider to help bring the cost down. But on the other hand even if the cost is hard on the front side I understand that their harness are easy to use and are a perfect match to the original, plus it will last a very long time. So there is...
Looks like a good plan. I like the sink and fridge in Gene's pictures. I bathroom right by the back doors is a good idea also so that all you do is walk up the stairs and turn into toilet. It sounds like you should be able knock it out quickly to spend time camping. I know the truck looks...
So much information you had to post it twice. I would give some thought to putting the power steering pump back on. Here is why. First if you change to a hydro boost brake system you will need the pump to run the booster. Second if you want to add a hysdrulic winch you will need it for that...
Good luck at that price..... Not trying to be a buz kill but that's a lot of bread for that product. If you have them for under 1K you'll sell them like hot cakes. I could be wrong. After all I'm nobody...just a guy that wouldn't pay that much for that item. Sorry. Good luck with it I hope...
I think the ACU would look dump on an MV. The multi cam would look better, but as stated would have to be enlarged to be in proportion to the vehicle. Meaning a M1009 would be different sized pixles (squares) than a M35 would have.
If I was going to do it I would take an existing cammo...
You're most likely going to pay more for the military LED lights than $18.00. Are you talking about the large rear tail lights on the trailer or the older "cat eye" style light. I would think with some inginuity one should be able to convert either one of those lights to LED. Now if you want...
