You really have no idea how insurance works, do you? If insurance is a scam then you must be self insured and posted a bond with the state (which you won't get back either).
Insurance companies provide you with exactly what they will do for you. Its called a binder, or a contract. If its not...
Sec. 20-58. - Miscellaneous parking regulation.
(a)
There shall be no off-street parking in the front yards, rear yards, and side yards, street side, of single-family dwellings, except as normally exists in driveways or designated parking spaces or areas, unless otherwise provided in this...
I still don't see the allure of the 28V robodrill. Its a $300 paperweight. Unless you have a source of 28V other than the truck... what other use is it?
It list 25 amp draw so you would not need to idle the truck... but I would. Only thing that sucks worse than a flat is a dead battery...
. They continue to turn me in to our illustrious Code Enforcement Guys. The Code Enforcement Officer does not return my calls and I live in an area that does not have a home owners association.
Then it sounds like you have nothing to worry about.
If they make a formal, written complaint...
How I come to my decision:
Torque Multiplier lug wrench: To expensive, limited use.
28V/Slave cable anything: to expensive, no use unless the truck is there
Swench: way to darn expensive
3/4th in HF impact wrench: works off shop air and truck air. Can use it on crank nuts and other large...
Won an M105a2 trailer with brandy new tires (molding nubs and all).
Seeing that the fronts on Milla were cupped it was time for a swap.
The standard budd wrench didn't do anything so off to HF to get the $99 ($79 after 20% off) 3/4th inch air hammer. I didn't have or want to buy the 1/2 hose...
Not knowing much I read up on NiCads and found this little blurb:
When not under load or charge, a NiCd battery will self-discharge approximately 10% per month at 20°C, ranging up to 20% per month at higher temperatures. It is possible to perform a trickle charge at current levels just high...
Neat idea, but as you said the charging part is the kicker.. more parts to handle the NiCads charging profile.
Have you considered the AGM batts like Optimas?
Change the vehicle to a 'replica' and insure it as an XM381 replica.
Lying to the insurance agency will most likely get any claim denied.
Using any of the 'historical' or 'antique' insurers will place sever limits on the use of the truck.
Pick what route you want to go.
The front glass is to vertical for it to be a closed cab. The CCKW and the earlier CCW were based mostly on civvy trucks.
Maybe a US6? An REO? There were 6x6's a plenty in WWII.
I would not hook up the air to the trailer. For an empty 105 you will not need it.
My list for my just picked up 105 was:
Check air pressure and lugs.
Hook up to pintal (or have the GL guy drop it on the pintal with the forklift) chains and lights.
Test lights.
Drive a mile or so and feel...
My setup is almost exactly as yours, but I use 275 gallon totes, not 55 gallon barrels.
I am on the third do over.
One thing I am adding is a skimmer. Taking oil from the bottom or near bottom has gotten me lots of water. I (and you) need a way to skim off the top, and also to get to that...
5. Parking next to $70k BMWs and Lexuses.
4. Making the chick at the drive though bend really far out the window for maximum boobage exposure
3. Never having to shovel snow from my driveway even AFTER PENDOT makes that 3ft high road slush ice mountain next to it.
2. It can haul all 5 dogs

There appear to be no mounts for any suspension.. either volute spring or torsion bar.
It actually looks like the bottom of a gantry crane that runs on rails on shipping docks.
My 66 was straight out of a local NG motorpool (verified by Carnac) and it has one original valve and one ball valve.
So it don't think it matters. It would be nice to have the original valves.
Synthetic oils don't run cooler. They last longer and withstand more heat, but they do little to reduce the temp of a meshing component. They are no more 'slippery' than regular oil (before you get all uppity remember a pound of lead weighs the same as a pound of feathers... 30wt oil is 30wt...
This is seriously out of date. You really should not post it. Using old, superseded lubes can cause problems if the mechanic is not aware of the newer spec and uses and old, out of date one as you posted.
Follow up:
The cork and seals all looked OK. Still put in new seals and repacked the bearings. Serviced the vent.
One hub is hot.. but I think its the brakes, not the bearings.
I did reuse the cork and also RTV'd it to fill in any gaps. So far no leaks... but what a mess.
Do you know how much weight it will take to affect a tire as large and heavy as a mounted 9x20?
Low air pressure, bad toe in, uneven tread. OK. Out of balance on a low speed high wieght tire... not so much.
