No, I should have been clearer. The bearings and races need to be swapped from one side of the hub to the other. Used bearings and races should always stay matched although not everyone does that. The spindle will only receive the bearing with the bigger inner diameter. With that said, I'm...
Yikes, judging by the level of disassembly, I'm guessing the burb is 2wd? Are you going to install the road oiler in it too? Since the discovery of the 555JHO alts in place of Duvac, I've been considering switching another truck to that charging system.
I have not...yet. 2 issues, one of which could be significant. The tach and such is 24V. Not in itself a problem but one needs to be cognizant of that. The 2nd problem is that the tach drive replaces the vacuum pump on the 6.2. I think there are vac pumps that can run the sensor but not...
Following up on this. I received my gravity feed adapters today, thanks Will. The number on the quick connector was B20-5BP. A quick search found them to be a single seal type and my air tool nipples fit perfectly. I would rather have the ones that double seal but for now I will use them as is...
Perhaps we can bribe him into going to Findlay? He will never notice that all.his wheels were swapped out for M37 stuff. I'm surprised that Roger doesn't have 3 or 75 of them laying around.

You will likely need a spacer between the rims. The M37 rims will be just shy on backspacing. Considering the same on my trailer salad 116 only 8 lug. Need a lathe to turn down hubs.
Top shelf current production cans are mfd by Wavian. They supply many countries. I have a bunch of 5L cans in my SECM for oil etc. The cans are perfect in every way.
This jewel came out of Roosevelt Roads PR and belonged to NMCB74. It was complete but rusted beyond recognition is certain areas. It sacrificed it's life so other Oilfield trucks could live. Some parts went to Keith Boda, others to Steelsoldiers dad who has an M756A2 and the bed is on a...
True with 5 tons. The M756A2 with lockers were supposed to be Seabees trucks of which I've had 2. Not sure what branch Keith Boda's truck was but it reportedly has them.
It was customarily thought that all pipeline trucks had Detroit Lockers. They are not in any TMs and I am 0-2 on it too. Both of mine were sans lockers.
