    Supporting 14,000 curb weight?

Who said anything about axles and brakes? I said it would skirt the tire issue. Truthfully though, the post was satirical in nature, not literal.

Can anyone guess what this is?

    That is a fumunda bar.

    Supporting 14,000 curb weight?

You can skirt the tire issue by adding those semi wheel adapters and run 24.5 truck tires.

    Hub flip

No, I should have been clearer. The bearings and races need to be swapped from one side of the hub to the other. Used bearings and races should always stay matched although not everyone does that. The spindle will only receive the bearing with the bigger inner diameter. With that said, I'm...

    Hub flip

Yes, that is correct. You will need to swap locations of the bearings and races.

    My 1984 Chevrolet Suburban K20 4x4 3/4 ton CUCV clone #2 - AKA: M1007 or M1029

I'm guessing the burb has a low hump floorboard. Time for a bit of surgery.

    My 1984 Chevrolet Suburban K20 4x4 3/4 ton CUCV clone #2 - AKA: M1007 or M1029

Yikes, judging by the level of disassembly, I'm guessing the burb is 2wd? Are you going to install the road oiler in it too? Since the discovery of the 555JHO alts in place of Duvac, I've been considering switching another truck to that charging system.

    hmmwv tachometer installation

I have not...yet. 2 issues, one of which could be significant. The tach and such is 24V. Not in itself a problem but one needs to be cognizant of that. The 2nd problem is that the tach drive replaces the vacuum pump on the 6.2. I think there are vac pumps that can run the sensor but not...

Looking for a 2nd spare tire location...

Looks like a decent impromptu step as well.

Knowing Gimp, probably the more colors the better! LOL

Scepter Jerry Can Gravity Feed Adapters

Following up on this. I received my gravity feed adapters today, thanks Will. The number on the quick connector was B20-5BP. A quick search found them to be a single seal type and my air tool nipples fit perfectly. I would rather have the ones that double seal but for now I will use them as is...

    Dualled m101?

Perhaps we can bribe him into going to Findlay? He will never notice that all.his wheels were swapped out for M37 stuff. I'm surprised that Roger doesn't have 3 or 75 of them laying around.

    Dualled m101?

There's the answer. I know where Walkerhunter parks his trailer at the rally.

the FREE MARKET FOUND A WAY! (new CARB compliant NATO FUEL CAN) "Jerry MFC"

When shopping for NATO cans, take the time and Google the differences. Recessed welds is a biggie. Bund or Wavians are excellent choices. I have done a few personal comparisons on US Cans, NATO cans and Scepter MFCs. All 3 can dump their contents in about a minute with quality spouts. Steel...

    Dualled m101?

Not sure on frame clearance but the spacer will be needed between the rim. There might be a rim somewhere with right offset.
  16. Recovry4x4

    Dualled m101?

You will likely need a spacer between the rims. The M37 rims will be just shy on backspacing. Considering the same on my trailer salad 116 only 8 lug. Need a lathe to turn down hubs.

the FREE MARKET FOUND A WAY! (new CARB compliant NATO FUEL CAN) "Jerry MFC"

Top shelf current production cans are mfd by Wavian. They supply many countries. I have a bunch of 5L cans in my SECM for oil etc. The cans are perfect in every way.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

This jewel came out of Roosevelt Roads PR and belonged to NMCB74. It was complete but rusted beyond recognition is certain areas. It sacrificed it's life so other Oilfield trucks could live. Some parts went to Keith Boda, others to Steelsoldiers dad who has an M756A2 and the bed is on a...

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

True with 5 tons. The M756A2 with lockers were supposed to be Seabees trucks of which I've had 2. Not sure what branch Keith Boda's truck was but it reportedly has them.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

It was customarily thought that all pipeline trucks had Detroit Lockers. They are not in any TMs and I am 0-2 on it too. Both of mine were sans lockers.
